Streamtek™ Flexible Stay-Put Hose Kits

Take total control over your air direction with Streamtek™ Flexible Hose Kits. Engineered for precision cooling, blow-off, and parts ejection, these modular “stay-put” hoses are the industry standard for directing the output of Streamtek™ Cold Air Guns and Vortex Tubes.

Once positioned, the hose remains rigid under pressure, ensuring your cold air stream stays aimed exactly at the heat source without drooping or wandering.

The Perfect Match for Cold Air Distribution

Standard copper or aluminum tubing can be difficult to aim and prone to kinking. Our modular link design offers infinite adjustability:

  • Cold Air Gun Integration: Quickly attach to the cold end of a Streamtek™ Cold Air Gun to snake the air into a CNC enclosure or onto a lathe tool bit.

  • Vortex Tube Precision: Use with a Streamtek™ Vortex Tube to provide targeted spot cooling for plastic welding, needle cooling, or electronic component testing.

  • Stay-Put Rigidity: Designed to withstand the “recoil” of high-velocity air without losing its position.

  • Tool-Free Adjustment: Simply move the hose by hand; no wrenches are needed to change your cooling angle mid-process.

Kit Configurations

Each Streamtek™ Flexible Hose Kit comes ready for installation and includes:

  1. High-Strength Connector: 3/8″ NPT male fitting to match your equipment.

  2. Modular Hose Segment: Durable, snap-fit links that can be shortened or lengthened as needed.

  3. Optional Nozzle/Orifice: Designed to maintain the laminar flow of the cold air stream.

Common Applications

  • Machining Operations: Directing cold air for dry-machining and tool-life extension.

  • Plastic Processing: Focused cooling on heat-shrunk plastic or mold cavities.

  • Electronic Testing: Spot-cooling circuit boards or sensors to simulate cold-start conditions.

  • Grinding & Sanding: Keeping the workpiece cool to prevent burning or warping.

Pro-Tip: Thermal Insulation

While the acetal copolymer material is a natural insulator, for ultra-low temperature applications using Streamtek™ Vortex Tubes, keep the hose length as short as possible to ensure the maximum temperature drop reaches your part.
