Description

Mini Spot Cooler: Precision Cooling Simplified

The Streamtek™ Mini Spot Cooler is an ultra-compact, low-cost solution for localized cooling. Our maintenance-free system uses advanced vortex tube technology to instantly produce a powerful stream of cold air without any electrical connections or refrigerants. Quiet and compact, the Mini spot cooler efficiently stops heat build-up at the source.

Improve Performance and Quality

  • Powerful Cold Air: The Mini Spot Cooler delivers air cooled down -16 °F or -9 °C. This prevents thermal expansion and heat-related damage. Our mini Spot Cooler consumes only 8 CFM of compressed air.
  • Improve Tolerances: Cooling small, critical parts can improve machining tolerances and thus directly help increase your production rates.
  • Easy Setup and Aiming: The unit comes standard with a magnetic base for instant, portable mounting on any metal surface. Cold air is precisely directed using the loc line flexible tubing to put the cold exactly where you need it.

OSHA and CE Compliance

Streamtek™ Mini Spot coolers meet OSHA standards for occupational safety-29 CFR 1910.242(b) for compressed air and 29 CFR 1910.95 for noise exposure-and are CE directive compliant as Machinery (2006/42/EC), Pressure Equipment (2014/68/EU), and Low Voltage (2014/35/EU) as applicable. Our vortex tube-based cooling systems offer hazard-free, moving-part-free, electricity-free, and refrigerant-free cooling of electrical enclosures, with 67-79 dB noise emissions (below OSHA’s 90 dBA requirement); low-pressure relief valves ensure safe operation at 80-100 PSIG.

Common Applications

Machining: Enhances tolerances and finishes in grinding lenses, cooling small blades, or machining critical small parts.

Textiles: Cools fast-moving needles on high-speed sewing machines to prevent thread breakage and wear.

Assembly & Testing: To be used for spot cooling of circuit boards, electronic components, or heat sensors while testing and assembling.

Plastics/Mold Release: Cools injection molded parts to speed up the cycle times for faster demolding. General Heat Control: Localized cooling for setting glue, welding surfaces, or cooling adhesives.
