We offer a Regular Aluminum Air Wipe and a Hi-Temp Stainless Air Wipe. The Regular Air Wipe has an aluminum body, stainless steel shims, brass fittings, and a rubber hose. The Hi-Temp Air Wipe requires a stainless-steel body, stainless steel shims, stainless steel fittings, and a stainless-steel hose. The Regular Air Wipe is made of aluminum and can withstand temperatures up to 150F. It consumes 13-84 SCFM. The Hi-Temp Air Wipe is made of stainless steel and can withstand up to 800F and consumes 32-84 SCFM. Both include accessories and an installation manual.

IT’S SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE
Both Aluminum and High-Temperature models have been built with a simple open and shut two-part design that lets you snap it around any item. The air traveling through the Air Wipe hits the product at a 30-degree angle. You can mount it using a rigid compressed air pipe or by utilizing a fabricated bracket.
The Air Wipe works by pushing compressed air through a standard 1/4” NPTF inlet and into an annual chamber. That air is then sped through a small ring nozzle at high velocity. That airstream clings to the ‘coanda’ profile and is angled to create a cone of air that is used to wipe, dry, and clean a surface. The surrounding air is entrained, creating a high-volume flow of air into the primary airstream. The water or material is pushed away and off of the item flowing through the Air Wipe.

Air Wipes can be used to dry tube, wire, hose, and fibers. It can remove excess water and oil, uniformly wipe surfaces, and cool hot extruded shapes. It has been used to clean paint gun tips, blow off dust and contaminants, and dry rod and medical tubing.
